NCTSA Mission Statement:

"We, the students of the North County Technology and Science Academy, are committed to our education. Every day we walk though these doors we are working towards earning our high school diploma with the goal of college in mind. Life may not be easy, but we realize the importance of maintaining, even in the toughest situations. We are committed to creating community and a healthy learning environment so that all students can achieve. We believe in cooperation, asking questions and respecting ourselves and others. Little Children: Big Challenges

Choose at least three of the segments Sesame Street has created for children with incarcerated parents. Then go to your journal and respond to the following prompts in paragraph form:

  • What message is Sesame street trying to give children with incarcerated parents
  • If you were a young one, do you think it would be helpful, why or why not?
